Model Driven Geo-Information System's Development
نویسندگان
چکیده
Continuous change of user requirements has become a constant for geo-information systems. Designing systems that can adapt to such changes requires an appropriate design methodology that supports abstraction, modularity and other mechanisms to capture the essence of the system and help controlling complexity. An important factor in the conceptual modelling of information systems is to describe structural and behavioural aspects of these systems. Traditionally, however, these aspects of geoinformation systems have been modelled separately, and little attention has been given to the behavioural part of such systems. Numerous techniques for the conceptual modelling of systems have emerged in the last years. We build upon these techniques, combining behavioural modelling with concepts from information modelling and formal system specifications, to define a methodology that enables the modelling of both behavioural and informational aspects of geo-information systems. The methodology aims at supporting the design process of the system, and also helps enforcing that geo-information systems are reliable, maintainable and compliant with the changing requirements.

متن کاملSurface runoff estimation in an upper watershed using geo-spatial based soil conservation service-curve number method
Runoff assessment and estimation is crucial for watershed management as it provides information that is needed to expedite the course of watershed planning and development. The most commonly used model due to its simplicity and versatility in runoff estimation is the soil conservation service curve number developed by the United States Department of Agriculture. The study estimates the surface ...
متن کاملTowards movement-aware access control Position paper
The objective of spatially-aware access control models is to regulate the access to protected objects based on position information. In that last years, increasing attention has been paid to spatiallyaware access control models for mobile and pervasive applications. Following the experience of design of the GEO-RBAC model, in this paper we want to look at those models with a critical eye and po...
متن کاملFilling the Gap between Business Process Modeling and Behavior Driven Development
1. Introduction Behavior Driven Development (NORTH, 2006) is a specification technique that is growing in acceptance in the Agile methods communities. BDD allows to securely verify that all functional requirements were treated properly by source code, by connecting the textual description of these requirements to tests. On the other side, the Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) researchers and...
